Ride from sculpture garden to Golden meadow for lunch, then on to Grand Isle State Park (~2hours/71 miles)

Stop for fuel North of sculpture garden. Then ride about 40 minutes to La Fourche Landing in Golden Meadow for lunch (Arrive about noon) (Address: 409 S Alex Plaisance Blvd, Golden Meadow, LA 70357; Phone: (985) 475-3600). Leave about 1300.

NOTE: I looked up the restaurant and it looks like there is 2 burgers and 2 sandwiches on the menu. Should be pretty quick then for a lunch stop. I wanted to do lunch in grand Isle, but timing just doesn’t work that great.

NOTE: there is a toll to cross LA HWY1 bridge. I think it is 3.75 one way. It does not look like you can avoid the bridge. I recommend having some cash.

Ride about 45 minutes to Grand Isle state park; stop for fuel on the way to park. Arrive park about 1400.

Warning: We will be minding our speed limit, especially in the Galliano area. When I worked offshore, they used to go after all the offshore workers cuz they knew they would be speeding to get there or go home.
